3 Peaks Challenge
In 2007 the first CHS team set out to take on the mountains to raise money for Youth Cancer Trust (YCT). YCT is a unique charity based in sunny Bournemouth. It provides free, fun activity based holidays for young people (aged 14 to 30) suffering with cancer.
The teams first task is to raise over £2000 for YCT (not forgetting the training). The cost of hiring mini buses, feeding the intrepid explorers and their accommodation is covered by CHS this means all money raised goes straight to the charity. It was such a success after year one, each following year four new challengers take on the mountains of Scotland, England and Wales.
